Production Line Team Lead, Extrusion & Molding Why This Role

Pay, Hours, and Perks
- Pay: $28 to $32.25 per hour; overtime-eligible.
- Schedule: 3 PM – 1 AM; 10-hour shifts, 4 or 5 days each week depending on demand.

What You’ll Own
- PPE enforcement, safe work practices, and immediate reporting of hazards/incidents to the Production Manager.
- Accurate shift reports and production documentation.
- Adherence to product specifications and the product sampling schedule.
- Participation in Preventive Maintenance; correct forklift operation and PM adherence.
- Achievement of wired plant compliance metrics and facility housekeeping standards.
- Resource allocation to meet the shift plan and hit standard production efficiencies on all lines.
- Onboarding and cross-training of team members in safety, quality, and job-specific tasks.
- Collaboration with Maintenance and on-the-spot troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Fast, well-coordinated product changeovers.
What You Bring

- Solid manufacturing fundamentals; plastic extrusion exposure is a plus.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years as a line operator or similar role preferred.
- Supervisory training or leadership experience preferred.
- English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.
- Willingness to work various shifts, 40+ hours per week, and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/move for at least 8 continuous hours.
- Comfort performing physical labor for extended periods in temperature extremes.
- Use of hands/arms/legs to handle and transport finished goods.
- Full range of motion: twist, bend, reach, squat, and mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.

Team Structure
Reports directly to the Production Manager. Lead a team of 3–6 hourly employees; when a production employee calls off, you will operate the production line.
