About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and passionate Key Hourly Manager to join our energetic and passionate team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about delivering excellent coffee, breakfast, pastries and customer service. This is a full time position and requires open availability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all barista training and maintain consistency in daily operations
- Run shifts alongside salary management properly and efficiently
- Management of cash drawers and deposits
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, specialty beverages, breakfast dishes and pastries
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment
- Take customer orders accurately and handle payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness of the caf, including counters, equipment, and dining areas
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with catering or special event preparations as needed
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous barista and food industry roles with customer service experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
- Ability to multitask and work in a very fast-paced high demand environment
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
