King George, VA is where your leadership meets hands-on craftsmanship. As our Precision Fabrication Operations Supervisor, you’ll guide a capable crew through each build cycle, transforming drawings into finished components while tightening processes and elevating standards.

A Day in the Life
  • Kick off the shift by reviewing work orders, aligning the team, and clarifying priorities for quality and on-time delivery.
  • Walk the floor to verify machines and tools are set up, calibrated, and safeaddressing maintenance needs before they become downtime.
  • Meet with engineering and design partners to interpret specifications, validate tolerances, and plan fabrication approaches.
  • Coach team members on techniques, safety, and best practices; pair newer fabricators with mentors and oversee skills progression.
  • Spot-check work in process and perform rigorous quality control inspections to ensure every piece meets spec.
  • Monitor materials and inventory levels; coordinate replenishment to keep fabrication moving without delays.
  • Troubleshoot issues in real timewhether fit-up, equipment, or process relatedand drive corrective actions.
  • Document and refine procedures that improve throughput, consistency, and safety.

What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree/certification preferred.
  • Proven fabrication background with 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Deep knowledge of fabrication processes, tools, and shop equipment.
  • Clear, confident communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Steady performance in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a fabrication environment.
