System Director – Laundry & Linen Services

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 5:00 AM–1:30 PM; hours may vary
Salary: $110,136+ annually
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced System Director, Laundry & Linen Services to oversee laundry and linen operations across healthcare facilities. This role is responsible for operational leadership, quality and sanitation standards, equipment management, transportation/logistics, budgeting, compliance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct planning, operations, logistics, and policies for laundry and linen services.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and patient linen handling.
- Manage linen, supplies, equipment, purchasing, and inventory.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, repairs, and safety programs.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for quality, productivity, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage transportation, driver routes, and linen delivery logistics.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze operational reports and present results to leadership.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
- Support business development, client relationships, and account management.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, The Joint Commission (TJC), and HLAC standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial or healthcare laundry experience with leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of laundry equipment functionality, maintenance, and repair.
- Advanced knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards.
- Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and linen management software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make independent operational decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certified Laundry and Linen Manager (CLLM) or Registered Laundry and Linen Director (RLLD) certification through the Association for Linen Management (ALM) preferred.
Relocation
Relocation assistance of up to $10,000 may be available for candidates relocating approximately 71 miles, with a 2-year commitment.
