Facility: The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing
Location: Southampton, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Salary: $90,000–$95,000 per year

Join Our Nursing Leadership Team!

The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Unit Manager to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of a subacute nursing unit. The RN Unit Manager will provide strong leadership to the nursing team, coordinate resident care, and help ensure a safe, efficient, and therapeutic environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the clinical and administrative management of the nursing unit

  • Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality resident care

  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and procedures

  • Oversee resident admissions, transfers, and discharges

  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Monitor resident progress and coordinate appropriate interventions

  • Promote effective communication among nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable New York State and federal regulations

  • Support staff development, teamwork, and efficient unit operations

  • Utilize SigmaCare and other computer systems for clinical documentation and resident management

Requirements
  • Current New York State RN license

  • Minimum 1 year of nursing home experience required

  • 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred

  • Experience in subacute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care

  • Supervisory or nursing management experience preferred

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and effectively problem-solve

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong computer skills

  • Experience with SigmaCare preferred
