Mechanical Engineer

As a key member of the product development team, the Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing both new product designs and implementing design changes. This role involves leading engineering tasks and providing support through to production, with a focus on creative design solutions that meet product requirements. You will utilize CAD tools and analysis techniques while understanding materials, manufacturing processes, tool design, and production costs. Additionally, you will ensure that technical documentation is completed to satisfy design history file requirements and comply with medical product regulatory standards.

• Develop new product designs and implement design changes.
• Lead engineering tasks and support projects from concept through to production.
• Create innovative design solutions to meet product requirements.
• Utilize CAD tools and analysis techniques effectively.
• Understand materials, manufacturing processes, tool design, and cost of production.
• Complete technical documentation to meet design history file requirements.
• Follow established design controls to ensure regulatory compliance for medical products.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience with 3D modeling and AutoCAD.
• Strong mechanical engineering skills.

• Must have a 4-year degree in engineering.
• Familiarity with a 3D modeling system.

The position is based in a brand new building with a team of engineers in an updated area. The company offers a unique environment and is rapidly growing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stevens Point, WI.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
