American Portable Air, one of the fastest growing private regional climate control rental companies with 7 branches in Florida and Georgia is offering an excellent opportunity for a career track in the climate control industry. Our climate control products include spot coolers, portable air conditioners, portable heaters, dehumidifiers Generators and air purification products. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is ambitious to grow and service those customers with exceptional service. Branch employee will report to the Regional Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Clean driving record.• Ability to maneuver equipment on casters and be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Experience driving a box truck.
• Managing Install Tech and implementation of deliveries and installations.
• Keeps track of rental equipment (inventory) and coordinates deliveries, pick-ups and service calls with customers.
• Maintains warehouse and work areas.
• Operates company vehicle safely and maintains a valid driver's license and excellent driving record free from points.
• Keeps records and maintains company vehicle.
• Maintains and tracks company tools and supplies. (Broken tools should be brought to supervisor for replacement.)
• Communicates professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups and service calls.
• Completes appropriate paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups and service calls.
• Directs customers to sign appropriate paperwork. Keeps track of serial numbers.
• Delivers and installs rented equipment. Trains authorized operator (and/or customer) on safe use of equipment.
• Demonstrates a professional and courteous demeanor to customers.
• Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication.
Takes accurate phone messages and has a clear, professional manner when
speaking with customers.
• Is on a rotating call for emergency service and is available for emergency service response calls for after-hours and weekends.
• Successfully troubleshoots and completely understands the operation, function, specifications, capabilities and controls of any piece of rental equipment.
