We are searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Raleigh studio!
What You'll Do:
- Establish design approach at project start-up.
- Leads client management.
- Attend client, consultant, and design committee meetings.
- Communicates and improves some design processes with other team members.
- Manage project specific scope, budget and schedule.
- Leads in planning, design and documentation of projects; prepares working drawings and stamps drawings.
- Participates in all design and construction phases of projects.
- Presents design to client and coordinates with other disciplines and consultants.
- Participates in project debriefs and lesson’s learned sessions.
- Manages teams and assists other project team members in the development and maintenance of workplans.
- May be involved in project/client pursuits.
- Provide training and leadership through project work to empower, train and develop designers.
Education and Experience:
- Educational Background:Bachelor's degree or Professional degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Experience:10+ years of applicable experience. Experience with HVAC design in healing, learning and/or discovery market sectors preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure preferred.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Teams environment, including Co-Pilot, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Large Language Models (LLM's), familiarity with Deltek VantagePoint preferred; Architecture CAD, Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam; Graphic Software: InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other transformative design tools.
