Job Title: Quality Control Manager / Superintendent (2nd Shift)
Job Description
This role oversees a federal construction renovation project at a naval base, focusing on the replacement of condensate lines in an existing building. The Quality Control Manager / Superintendent manages day-to-day field operations, enforces quality and safety standards, coordinates multiple subcontractors, and ensures compliance with federal and USACE requirements on a 2nd shift schedule.

Work Environment
Work takes place on site at a naval base, primarily within an existing building undergoing renovation and condensate line replacement. The project includes activities such as scaffolding erection, ceiling tile and grid removal and replacement, asbestos abatement, and mechanical piping work. The position operates on a 2nd shift schedule, typically from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. You will work closely alongside another superintendent and receive regular site visits from a project manager. The environment is a secure federal facility, requiring adherence to base access rules, safety regulations, and project-specific procedures. Field work is hands-on and construction-focused, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality control, and coordination among multiple subcontractors. Attire is typical for a construction site and must comply with safety requirements, including appropriate personal protective equipment as needed.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $44.00 - $57.69/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
