SERVPRO of Springfield/Mt Vernonis seeking dependable, hardworking, and motivatedMitigation Techniciansto join our growing restoration team. This position is responsible for responding to residential and commercial property losses involving water, fire, mold, and other emergency situations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency water mitigation services, including water extraction and structural drying
- Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers
- Perform demolition and removal of damaged building materials
- Assist with fire, mold, and other restoration projects as needed
- Perform cleaning, sanitizing, and debris removal
- Document job activities, moisture readings, and equipment placement
- Load, unload, maintain, and transport restoration equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicles
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency losses when needed
Qualifications:
- Previous mitigation, restoration, construction, or demolition experience preferred
- IICRC WRT certification is a plus, but training may be provided
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working in residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, or mold damage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail
- Must be dependable and willing to work occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends when emergency services are needed
