Position Summary

IHC, LLC is seeking a motivated, results-driven Regional Sales Representative to develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships throughout an assigned sales territory. This position is responsible for identifying prospective customers, generating quotation opportunities, securing new business, and providing exceptional customer support to ensure long-term partnerships and continued revenue growth.

The Regional Sales Representative serves as a key ambassador for IHC, LLC, representing the company professionally while collaborating with internal departments to deliver outstanding customer service and technical solutions.

Reporting Relationship

The Regional Sales Representative reports directly to the President of Sales.

Position Authority

The Regional Sales Representative is entrusted with the authority and responsibility necessary to effectively manage the assigned sales territory while operating within the established policies, procedures, and strategic objectives of IHC, LLC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, trade shows, industry events, and existing customer relationships.
• Generate and secure opportunities to quote new business with qualified prospects.
• Follow up on quotations to maximize awarded business and identify opportunities to improve future quote success.
• Gather competitive intelligence, including reasons for awarded or lost business, and communicate findings to management.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing customers through regular visits, phone calls, and communication.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer concerns, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing customer accounts.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, forecasts, pipeline status, and territory performance using company reporting systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Quality, and Management to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Represent IHC, LLC professionally during customer visits, meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s coating processes, capabilities, and value-added services.
• Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
• Travel throughout the assigned regional territory to meet with customers and prospects on a regular basis.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the President of Sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent sales experience will be considered.
• Minimum of three (3) years of outside sales or business development experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial services, metal finishing, aerospace, automotive, defense, or related industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience developing and managing customer relationships across a multi-state territory preferred.
