Description:
Provide direct field supervision and oversight of day-to-day electrical activities for the Plant X BESS project.
Responsibilities include daily contractor coordination, verification of electrical completion, field inspections, quality surveillance, safety oversight, and support of site activities.
The Construction Supervisor will serve as the primary field presence to ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with project requirements and standards.
Responsible for monitoring contractor performance, verifying work quality, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and facilitating timely resolution of field issues identified inspections.
Deliverables include daily field oversight, contractor coordination, verification of corrective actions, and support for activities to ensure a successful transition to Operations.
Highly collaborative.
Work hours/shift (standard, evening, full time/part time, OT required, on-call for 24/7 operation)?: 50-hour work week. 7 AM - 5:30 PM.
Qualification:
A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is highly preferred, though not required.
Electrical Experience: 7-10 Years of Experience: Extensive experience with low and medium voltage electrical work.
Electrical Inspector: Specific experience within the electrical discipline.
Technical Proficiency: Civil Design and Construction Support, Renewable Energy Experience: Wind, Solar, BESS.
System: Familiarity with the NEXTracker system, which is a positioning system software for solar panels, would be highly beneficial.
Safety Expertise: Safety Champion: Must prioritize and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
General Electrical Experience: 7+ Years of Experience: A strong background in electrical work, with at least 7 years of experience, is essential.
These skills and qualifications are crucial for ensuring the successful execution and oversight of the electrical components.
Strong communication, positive attitude.
7-10 years of experience/ electrical inspector.
EPC experience from Mortenson, Blattner construction. Or owners' rep side experience; National Grid, Nexterra, Duke Energy, etc.
OSHA 30, etc. would be nice to see.
