Behavior Technician
New Patterns ABA - CT - Naugatuck, CT

Job Summary:

As a Behavior Technician at New Patterns ABA - CT, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing compassionate, flexible, and collaborative in-home and community-based ABA therapy. Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related neurodevelopmental disorders, providing behavior supports and interventions in home and community settings

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior plans, working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other team members

  • Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and outcomes, utilizing data-driven approaches to inform treatment decisions

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

  • Provide ongoing training and support to families and caregivers to promote consistent implementation of behavior plans

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy

Requirements:

  • Minimum Requirements: 0 years of experience in ABA therapy or related field; high school diploma or equivalent required

  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, behavioral sciences); experience working with individuals with ASD or related neurodevelopmental disorders; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain
