Job Title: Operations Supervisor

Compensation: Hourly

Reports to: General Manager

Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor is a hands-on, entry-level management position responsible for overseeing the Detail Department and vehicle check-in operations. This working manager will supervise employees while also detailing vehicles, checking vehicles into the auction, and assisting with daily operational needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Detail department, lot personnel, transportation personnel.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and work alongside Detail Department employees.
  • Detail vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
  • Inspect completed vehicles for quality and accuracy.
  • Assign daily work and monitor employee productivity.
  • Check vehicles into the auction and accurately record vehicle information.
  • Supervise and work alongside lot personnel and transportation department personnel.
  • Verify vehicle identification numbers, mileage, keys, condition, and documentation.
  • Report vehicle damage, missing information, or other discrepancies.
  • Coordinate the movement and staging of vehicles throughout the property.
  • Maintain detailing equipment, supplies, and organized work areas.
  • Train employees and communicate performance and safety expectations.
  • Assist with auction-day preparation and other operational duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead employees while performing physical work.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive environment.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Automotive detailing, vehicle check-in, lot operations, or related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, enter and exit vehicles.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay range:$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
