Hospice Clinical Director

We are working with a very successful nationalHospicecompany searching for aClinical Directorfor the Clearwater area.

Ideal candidate for the Clinical Director position is clinically strong in hospice care, an effective team leader, and possesses a solid knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Must be a registered nurse.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Hires, evaluates, and terminates organization personnel.
• Develops, implements and evaluates the orientation program for new organization personnel.
• Conduct annual evaluations on clinicians, or more frequently if indicated.
• Overseas the maintenance of patent clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purpose of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.

Required Skills:

• Registered Nurse with a current license in the state of FL
• 3+ years of management experience, with at least five years of experience in home health or hospice.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university.
• Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Current AHA CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in good working condition.
• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and Joint Commission Standards.
