Position:Fitter
Location:Lannon, WI
Compensation:$22/hr-$27/hr Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication specifications.
- Measure, cut, fit, tack, and weld structural and fabricated metal components.
- Set up and operate MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding equipment as required.
- Use torches, grinders, plasma cutters, saws, drills, and other fabrication equipment.
- Position and align parts using clamps, fixtures, levels, squares, and measuring tools.
- Perform tack welding and final welding to specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated assemblies for quality and accuracy.
