Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Activity Assistant to engage our senior residents in creative programming that supports their psychological, spiritual, and physical well-being. The Activity Assistant is expected to treat each resident with dignity and respect, recognize individual needs, and promote independence. This role also helps maintain a homelike atmosphere throughout the residence.
Qualifications
Creative, artistic, theatrical and/or musically inclined.
Upbeat Personality
Minimum of one-year experience in home health, assisted living or long-term care
Possess the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
May require lifting or bending. Must be able to lift 25-35 pounds
Experience
relevant: 1 year (Preferred)
