A day in the lifeYou arrive for your shift, review the job packet and customer specifications, and prep your extrusion or machining line. You dial in tooling, verify measurements with micrometers and calipers, and run first-article checks. As production ramps, you monitor throughput, adjust parameters to maintain quality, and keep the area organized and safe. When it’s time for a changeover, you tear down, set up for the next run, and help a teammate troubleshoot a machinebecause great output is a team sport.
ShiftsHigh school diploma required; solid math and basic computer skills are essential.
ExperienceRead and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedures; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to groups. Proficiency in English, written and verbal.
