Patient Services Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Patient Services Representative for a direct hire opportunity.

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients while supporting day-to-day front office operations. Responsibilities include patient registration, insurance verification, collection of copayments and coinsurance, and scheduling diagnostic and follow-up appointments. You will also manage inbound phone calls, greet and assist patients upon arrival, monitor wait times, and facilitate a seamless check-in and check-out process. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of customer service or patient service experience
• Very strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Data entry experience
• Experienced in talking to clients and patients on the phone and via email

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Prior outpatient or clinic-based experience
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
