Position Summary
Jersey Mike's is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Manager of Treasury Operations to join its Finance team. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that will serve as a critical analytical resource for finance and treasury functions. The Manager of Treasury Operations will support treasury operations through the administration of the company’s Whole Business Securitization, including running the weekly cash allocation waterfalls, supporting refinancings, and assisting in annual process audits. Additionally, the Manager of Treasury Operations will support general corporate finance initiatives, including the company’s risk management (corporate insurance) programs, nascent international treasury initiatives and overall process improvements.

The ideal candidate is a treasury professional with a growth mindset that is interested in expanding their scope into a broader finance vertical. This candidate is a self-starter, comfortable with financial modeling with exceptional organizational skills, experience supporting international finance and treasury activities and the ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-finance business leaders. This role requires someone who is adaptable and can thrive in dynamic, build-it-as-you-go environment as well as someone with strong attention-to-detail and process-orientation.

Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties will be assigned to meet business needs.

Treasury Operations (30%)

  • Coordinate and prepare daily cash transactions including ACH and wire transfers in various banking platforms for review and approval
  • Monitor daily cash balances to ensure adequate funding to meet cash flow needs while optimizing unrestricted cash investments
  • Assist with weekly & quarterly cash forecasting by coordinating with accounts receivable and payable departments for funding requirements
  • Prepare treasury reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics
  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities related to cash, debt, and treasury transactions
  • Provide analysis on cash trends, borrowing requirements, and investment opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to automate treasury processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Support execution of share repurchase and dividend transactions

Whole Business Securitization Administration (~30%)

  • Track securitized net cash flow transactions to ensure funds are correctly directed into the WBS structure
  • Prepare and distribute weekly “waterfall” and quarterly noteholder reports
  • Assist with annual “Agreed Upon Procedures” audits as required by the WBS indenture
  • Assist in data preparation, analysis and due diligence for future refinancing projects
  • Monitoring and processing related WBS program expenses
  • Support new WBS issuances and refinancing transactions by coordinating financial information, cash-flow models, due diligence, and transaction closing requirements

International (~20%)

  • Support international expansion activities, including banking setup and treasury process implementation.
  • Support treasury operations for international subsidiaries and franchise operations.
  • Partner with Tax and Accounting on repatriation strategies, intercompany loans, and cross-border cash management as the company enters new international markets

Risk Management & Other (~20%)

  • Risk management: assist with the support and coordination of the companywide corporate insurance program covering all business lines including Director & Officers, workers compensation and international policies
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate, develop, and implement insurance and risk management programs designed to support the Company’s growing franchisee network
  • Franchisee qualification: Performing financial due diligence on new and existing franchisees to assist with qualifying candidates for franchise agreements

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in treasury operations, corporate finance, FP&A or a closely related analytical role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex modeling, pivot tables, dynamic arrays, and financial templates
  • Treasury operations experience in a large company with complex financing sources
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and drive a process from start to finish without day-to-day direction
  • Exposure to international operations/finance

Preferred

  • Experience at a public company
  • Familiarity with budgeting/ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, ADP)
  • Exposure to the QSR, restaurant, or franchise industry
  • Experience with whole business securitization financing structures
  • CTP, CPA, CFA, or demonstrated progress toward either designation
