Lifeguard

Part-time lifeguard position. At a private tennis and swimming club on Cleveland's East Side. Week day morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available. You must be able to work weekends. You must be a certified lifeguard. Your certification must be current. Great job for a student. Pay based on your experience. We are also looking for a part time experienced Learn To Swim Instructor. We are searching for someone with teaching and life guarding experience. We teach group and private lessons all year long at our indoor and outdoor facilities. Swim team coaching experience is a plus! Please apply and let us know your certifications and experience.

Shifts:

Monday- Sunday

8am- 12 noon

12 noon- 4pm

4pm- 8pm

Other Duties:

• Maintain the safety of patrons in and around the pool.
• Represent CRC by maintaining a professional attitude.
• Communicate and enforce regulations and pool rules in a personable and professional manner.
• Communicate any potentially dangerous elements of the facility to the Aquatic Manager.
• Attend all scheduled meetings.
• Perform patron surveillance with a rescue tube from the guard stand. Remain alert and use all senses while guarding.
• Work as a team with other lifeguards during special events.
• Test the water record results and report any imbalances.
• Set up pool for lap swimmers or events.
• Respond to an emergency and activate EMS.
• Handle all incidents in a manner appropriate to your training. Complete all injury reports.
• Perform other duties assigned.
