TEMP Seasonal General Laborer

SNELLING is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support a local company during its busy season. This is a hands-on position that will assist with production, warehouse duties, cleaning, organizing, and other tasks based on daily needs. This position is expected to begin in late October, with interviews taking place prior to the start date.

This Production Data & Inventory Clerk position will be Temporary, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and SNELLING would be your employer for the time of the project. Pay will be $15.50/hr.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, follows directions well, pays attention to detail, and is willing to jump in and help wherever needed without being prompted.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with production and assembly-line activities
• Move, organize, and prepare products and materials
• Count products and help ensure items are properly accounted for
• Inspect products and report damaged, missing, or unusual items
• Load, unload, stack, or arrange materials as directed
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Support warehouse and production teams as needed
• Follow all instructions, procedures, and workplace safety guidelines
• Move between assignments based on daily production needs
• Take initiative and help with tasks without needing to be prompted

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to recognize when something appears incorrect or out of the ordinary
• Willingness to perform a variety of duties
• Previous warehouse, production, or general labor experience is helpful but not required

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Must be able to stand and remain active for most of the shift
• Must be able to bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform repetitive tasks
• Must be comfortable working around an active production line and warehouse equipment
• Warehouse temperatures may be hot or cold depending on the season
• Must be willing to perform cleaning and other physical tasks as needed

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Friday: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Saturdays as required based on production needs: 7:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Candidates must be flexible and available to work required Saturdays when needed.

Assignment Length

This is a temporary seasonal position, with the busiest period typically running from November through January. Staffing needs and schedules may decrease after January, but opportunities may be available for dependable employees to continue working through June.
