Deployment TechnicianOverview

We are seeking a Deployment Technician to support a large-scale enterprise device refresh and asset management initiative. This role is responsible for the deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirement of endpoint devices while ensuring a seamless experience for end users. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience supporting a major technology deployment project within a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the full device lifecycle, including procurement intake, imaging, deployment, tracking, refreshes, upgrades, and decommissioning.
  • Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals across multiple locations.
  • Perform device imaging, software installation, and user setup according to established IT standards.
  • Coordinate hardware refreshes, device swaps, and replacement projects.
  • Maintain accurate asset records within asset management platforms such as ServiceNow and CMDB systems.
  • Track inventory and ensure proper documentation throughout the deployment process.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application-related issues.
  • Support Windows operating systems and common enterprise applications.
  • Provide excellent customer service while assisting end users during deployments and refresh activities.
  • Follow established procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in desktop support, field services, device deployment, or endpoint support.
  • Hands-on experience with device imaging and deployment tools such as SCCM, Microsoft Intune, or Windows Autopilot.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and enterprise desktop environments.
  • Experience deploying and supporting laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with asset management platforms, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale hardware deployment or refresh projects.
  • Experience working in structured, process-driven environments.
  • Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and inventory control processes.
  • Experience maintaining asset records and CMDB documentation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise endpoint management best practices.

This is a Contract position based out of Downers Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
