Job Title: RN – ICU
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract (14 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 Days/Week | 34.5 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $2,400 - $2,620/week (Depends on Experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU environment, including patient monitoring, treatments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and ICU patients.
Monitor vital signs, clinical conditions, and responses to treatment.
Assess patients and report significant changes to physicians and the healthcare team.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
Provide care for patients undergoing conscious sedation.
Monitor patients before, during, and after conscious sedation.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Assist physicians and healthcare professionals with procedures.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Critical Care/ICU experience.
Experience with conscious sedation.
IV insertion experience.
Phlebotomy experience.
