Logistics Manager

Job Duties:

• Handling both local and freight orders once completedin wiring department
• Checking paperwork and verifying box counts
• Customer service and tracking deliveries
• Assist with loading to double check correct items for delivery
• Ensuring correct pallets are loaded on to the right carriers with correct details
• • Shipping address
  • Order numbers
  • PO numbers
  • Pallet dimensions
  • Weight
• MAKING SURE ALL PROPERLY ENTERED INTO THE BILL OF LADING (BOL)– MUST HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE
• Also managing UPS shipments
• Creating labels
• Handle Billing process
• Scanning orders, uploading to SAGE
• Enter tracking details with shipping and delivery dates
• Email customers info
• Making sure second shift preps area (remotely)
• Making sure late orders go out
• Arrange late pickups and leave details instructions including BOL
• MUST HAVE GOOD ATTENTION TO DETAIL, GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS, WORK UNDER PRESSURE AND SOME OVERTIME
• Sr. Level – like Shipping Manager or Warehouse – someone who has done process improvement, managed 3PL relationships etc
