Tree Climber

A Tree Climber is responsible for safely ascending and working in trees to perform a range of arboricultural tasks in residential, commercial, and emergency settings. This role involves hands-on tree care including pruning, branch removal, and hazard assessment while ensuring safety and efficiency on site. The Tree Climber typically reports to the Crew Leader and supports team efforts in maintaining healthy and safe tree environments.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees safely using specialized equipment for various arboricultural tasks
• Set up and maintain climbing and safety equipment
• Inspect trees for health, safety hazards, and structural integrity
• Perform pruning and branch removal with precision
• Assess and mitigate tree-related hazards
• Conduct site cleanup after operations

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in arboriculture or related tree care work
