About the Role
Are you an analytical accounting professional with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for solving complex financial puzzles? We are seeking an Accounting professional to oversee end-to-end invoice management, lead high-value reconciliations, and drive key accounting operations.
In this role, you will handle multi-million-dollar journal entries, partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in monthly financial reporting and audit support. What You’ll Do
- End-to-End Invoice Management: Monitor, validate, and process complex financial transactions while ensuring strict compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Complex Financial Analysis: Perform high-level invoice reconciliations, payment tracking, accrual management, and variance research.
- Multi-State GL & Journal Entries: Record and balance complex, multi-million-dollar journal entries across multiple client divisional states.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with internal business partners, vendors, and external stakeholders to promptly resolve payment variances and invoicing issues.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Prepare documentation and support internal/external audit inquiries on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Process Automation: Provide key accounting insight and support for system automation projects and continuous process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, OR
- 6+ years of direct accounting experience in lieu of a degree.
- Technical Mastery: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and MS Word, alongside strong familiarity with financial and membership reporting.
- Core Skills: Proven track record in auditing accounts, allocating cash, maintaining current aging, and preparing monthly account reconciliations.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional approach to stakeholder management.
- Problem Solver: Exceptionally detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
