Job Title: Environmental Professional/Assistant Project Manager (mid-level)– Columbia/Charleston/Greenville, South Carolina
Reports to: Environmental Remediation Program Manager

Bhate Environmental Associates, Inc. (www.bhate.com) is seeking to fill a position for an Environmental Scientist to support our remediation projects in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years of relevant experience, including technical report writing and hands-on field work. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct field investigations, including soil, groundwater, air, and surface water sampling, drilling oversight, well installation, and remediation system monitoring.
Prepare clear, concise technical reports and documentation for regulatory and client review.

Qualifications:
Candidates should have a solid background in environmental investigation and site characterization, with experience conducting field sampling, supporting remedial investigations, and preparing clear technical reports. Candidates must demonstrate strong problemsolving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and effective timemanagement while supporting multiple project tasks. The candidate will be required to travel to support projects and teams located primarily in South Carolina. Candidates will be considered more favorably if they are pursuing professional licensure in the State of South Carolina (e.g., GIT, PG, EIT, or related discipline).
