Part Time Phlebotomist

Location: Hagerstown, MD (Primary) | Travel to Frederick, MD as needed
Schedule: Monday & Wednesday | 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM (12 hours/week)

Position Overview

We're seeking a reliable and patient-focused Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you'll collect patient specimens, provide excellent customer service, and ensure all samples are processed accurately and efficiently. While this position is primarily based in Hagerstown, MD, flexibility to provide coverage at our Frederick, MD location is required when full-time staff are unavailable.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced phlebotomist looking for a consistent part-time schedule with the potential for additional hours.

• Perform venipuncture, capillary blood draws, urine collections, and other specimen collections following established procedures.
• Verify patient identity, complete patient registration, and accurately enter demographic, billing, and laboratory order information.
• Deliver exceptional patient care by answering questions, assisting with the registration process, and collecting patient payments when applicable.
• Properly label, process, package, and prepare specimens for shipment to the laboratory.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and safety standards, including appropriate PPE use.
• Keep collection areas clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
• Assist with additional operational duties as assigned.

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy training program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between Hagerstown and Frederick, MD as needed.

Preferred:

• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical, laboratory, or patient service setting.
• Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills.
• Excellent customer service and patient communication abilities.
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Monday & Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM (12 hours/week)
• Must be available to work additional hours (up to 5:30 PM) when providing coverage for team members.
• Primary work location is Hagerstown, MD, with occasional coverage at the Frederick, MD location.
