Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Compensation:$21 hourly
Responsibilities:- Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks
- Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments
- React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts
- Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
- Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines
- Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations
- Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment
Qualifications:- You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role
- Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary
- Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
- Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software
