Kingfisher Recruiting is searching for an experienced residential service pro to support Livingston County on behalf of a well-regarded, expanding plumbing company. This organization is 100% owned by licensed plumbers and has a long track record of doing right by customers and employees. We’re hiring for a senior service capacity and welcome applicants who are unlicensed, Journeyman, or Master.

What you’ll do
  • Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, fixture problems, water heaters, sump pumps, drain lines, and water lines.
  • Install and service faucets, toilets, disposals, water heaters (including tankless), softeners, and related residential components.
  • Perform drain clearing and basic troubleshooting on sewer and water lines.
  • Interpret work orders, identify materials, and execute work efficiently and safely.
  • Communicate findings, options, and pricing to homeowners; protect their property while you work.
  • Document services with clear notes, photos, invoices, and complete job closeouts.
  • Uphold plumbing codes, company standards, safety rules, and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle cleanliness and manage inventory.
  • Operate independently in the field while contributing to team success.
Must-haves
  • Residential plumbing service experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across home plumbing systems.
  • Professional communication with homeowners and teammates.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean, reliable driving record.
  • Ability to lift, carry, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces safely.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellent workmanship.
Nice-to-haves
  • Experience with water heaters (tank and tankless), sump pumps, water treatment, drain cleaning, and sewer/water line repair.
  • Familiarity with tablets, service software, and digital invoicing/documentation.
  • Consultative, non-pressured approach to presenting repair options.
  • Backflow, boiler, gas piping, or other relevant certifications.
Schedule
  • Operating hours 8am to 4:30pm
  • Afterhours rotation
  • Unlimited Overtime
Compensation
  • Base Salary Range: $40-45/hr
  • Pay increase for On-Call
  • % Paid for service/product sales

Compliance

• Ability to pass background check and any required employment screening.

Territory: Livingston County and nearby residential service areas.

You should be proficient in: Residential plumbing
