Medical Assistant in Pediatrics

We are seeking a enthusiastic, upbeat, honest, and reliable candidate to care for children from infancy to 21 years to join our small personable clinic. Responsibilities include the primarily back office, but can include the front Office: The candidate will room patients with gentile care sensitive to the needs of children of all ages and developmental levels. Our ideal candidate will be able to take vitals and histories, give vaccinations and injections, and be able to perform phlebotomy, spirometry, vision and hearing tests. EMR experience is helpful. Working with and under the direction of providers, the candidate will help to call back patients/ parents with answers to questions and lab results. The candidate will be available to back up the Front Office, helping out when needed to greet and process patients, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, deductibles, scan forms, verify insurance benefits, and provide general support for the front office. Ideal candidates will have experience working in pediatrics with certification as a medical assistant or in nursing.

In addition to routine care well checks and sick visits, we offer assessment and treatment in asthma, allergies, mood disorders, ADHD, and chronic symptoms.
