Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fadal Milling Machine Repair Technicianto diagnose, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot Fadal CNC milling machines, specifically Fadal EMC and VMC models manufactured between 2000 and 2006. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities, a hands-on maintenance background, and the ability to identify and resolve machine faults efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and servo-related machine failures.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on Fadal EMC and VMC CNC milling machines.
  • Replace and install machine components including:
    • Servo motors
    • Servo amplifiers
    • Pneumatic valves and components
    • Power supplies
    • Sensors, switches, and relays
    • Other CNC machine control and motion system components
  • Analyze machine alarms, fault codes, and error messages to identify root causes of equipment issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and recommend corrective actions.
  • Test machine functionality after repairs to ensure proper operation and accuracy.
  • Document repairs, service activities, and parts usage.
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial CNC machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience diagnosing machine faults using alarm codes, error messages, and system diagnostics.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Familiarity with servo systems, amplifiers, motors, and pneumatic components.
  • Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and machine controls.
  • Ability to use hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize repair activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on Fadal CNC milling machines.
  • Experience servicing Fadal EMC and VMC machine models.
  • Knowledge of CNC machine controls and machine setup procedures.
  • Industrial maintenance, electromechanical, or CNC certification preferred.

Training Provided

  • Company-specific training on Fadal CNC controls and diagnostics.
  • Training on Fadal-specific alarm codes, troubleshooting procedures, and repair techniques.
