Position Summary

Yofi Aesthetics is seeking a professional, motivated, and client-focused Licensed Esthetician / Laser Technician who will also assist with front desk and daily spa operations.

This hybrid position combines hands-on aesthetic services, laser hair removal, exceptional client care, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is polished, dependable, organized, sales-oriented without being pushy, and committed to creating a luxury experience from the moment a client enters Yofi until they leave.

Primary Responsibilities

Esthetician & Treatment Responsibilities

• Perform esthetic services within the employee's training, licensure, certifications, and Yofi protocols.
• Conduct client skin assessments and recommend appropriate treatments and home-care products.
• Perform facials, chemical peels, and other approved esthetic treatments.
• Educate clients regarding treatment plans, skincare, pre-treatment preparation, and aftercare.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and client records in the EMR.
• Take standardized before-and-after photos when appropriate.
• Maintain treatment rooms according to cleanliness, sanitation, infection-control, and safety standards.
• Prepare and reset treatment rooms between clients.
• Maintain knowledge of Yofi's services, products, memberships, packages, promotions, and treatment protocols.
• Identify opportunities for clients to progress into appropriate treatment plans, packages, memberships, or skincare regimens.

Laser Hair Removal Responsibilities

• Perform laser hair removal treatments after completing all required training and certifications and where permitted under applicable law and Yofi's clinical protocols.
• Complete appropriate client screening and verify contraindications before treatment.
• Review medical history and treatment history before each session.
• Follow established laser settings, treatment protocols, safety procedures, and escalation procedures.
• Provide clients with appropriate pre- and post-treatment instructions.
• Document laser settings, treatment areas, client response, and other required information in the EMR.
• Maintain laser treatment rooms and equipment according to Yofi's safety and sanitation standards.
• Immediately report adverse reactions, burns, unusual skin responses, equipment concerns, or other clinical issues to the appropriate clinical supervisor.

Front Desk & Client Experience

• Greet and check clients in and out in a warm, professional manner.
• Answer incoming calls, text messages, and client inquiries.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
• Assist clients with selecting appropriate appointments while directing clinical questions to the appropriate provider.
• Collect payments, deposits, outstanding balances, and applicable fees.
• Review upcoming appointments to ensure required forms, deposits, and documentation are completed.
• Explain Yofi's scheduling, cancellation, late-arrival, deposit, and no-show policies.
• Assist with membership and package enrollment and provide accurate information regarding benefits and terms.
• Follow up with leads and clients regarding consultations, treatments, packages, and appointments.
• Help maintain an organized reception area and professional client environment.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor treatment and retail inventory and notify management when supplies need to be reordered.
• Assist with maintaining appropriate stock levels for treatment rooms.

Sales & Client Retention

• Educate clients about Yofi's services, memberships, treatment packages, and skincare products.
• Recommend services and products based on client needs rather than high-pressure sales tactics.
• Rebook clients before checkout whenever appropriate.
• Follow up with prospective clients who have expressed interest in services.
• Support monthly promotions, events, membership initiatives, and client-retention efforts.
• Help maintain strong client relationships and encourage long-term treatment planning.

Team & Operational Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with injectors, providers, laser technicians, management, and front desk staff.
• Assist other team members during busy periods when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and business information.
• Follow HIPAA requirements and Yofi's privacy policies.
• Follow all Yofi policies, clinical protocols, safety standards, and applicable state requirements.
• Participate in required staff meetings, training, continuing education, and performance reviews.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance consistent with Yofi's brand standards.
• Help create a calm, welcoming, luxury environment for every client.

Qualifications

• Current esthetician license in good standing.
• Laser hair removal training/certification as required for assigned duties.
• Previous medical spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or luxury spa experience preferred.
• Previous customer service, reception, hospitality, or sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable discussing treatment plans, packages, memberships, and skincare products.
• Ability to multitask between clinical and front desk responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Comfortable using scheduling, EMR, payment-processing, and client communication systems.
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing aesthetic and laser training.

Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be evaluated based on overall client experience, treatment quality and safety, documentation accuracy, punctuality and attendance, rebooking and client retention, appropriate product/package/membership recommendations, responsiveness to leads and clients, front desk accuracy, treatment-room cleanliness, teamwork, and adherence to Yofi policies and protocols.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive treatment-related movements, safely operate approved aesthetic equipment, move throughout the spa during a shift, and lift or move supplies and equipment reasonably necessary to perform assigned duties.

Schedule

Schedule will be based on business and client needs and may include weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends.

Scope of Practice

All treatments and clinical responsibilities must be performed within the employee's applicable license, training, certifications, delegated authority, and scope of practice. Yofi Aesthetics may modify treatment responsibilities based on applicable regulations, medical oversight requirements, training, competency, and business needs.
