Position Overview
First Phase Core Academy (FPCA) is seeking a dependable, energetic, and student-focused Academic Tutor / Instructional Support Team Member for the 2026–2027 school year.
This position supports students and Core Subject Teachers within FPCA's small-group instructional model. The Academic Tutor provides individual and small-group academic support, reinforces skills taught by Core Subject Teachers, assists students who need additional practice or intervention, and helps maintain a productive learning environment throughout the school day.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tutor, paraprofessional, education major, retired educator, or other qualified individual who enjoys working directly with students in a smaller educational setting.

Compensation
$16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on education, relevant experience, and qualifications.
About the Role
At FPCA, Academic Tutors are an important part of the instructional team. This position is designed to support and reinforce instruction provided by Core Subject Teachers, while giving students additional academic attention when they need it.
We are seeking someone who enjoys working directly with students, can build positive relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries and expectations, and understands that sometimes a student simply needs additional explanation, practice, encouragement, or a different approach before a concept clicks.
FPCA is a small, non-faith-based private school that values individualized learning, collaboration, academic growth, and strong relationships between students and educators.
This is an in-person position in Orlando, Florida. Remote work is not available.
