Quality Control Inspector

Position Title:Quality ControlInspector

Essential Functions

• Pulland checktags on vehicles.

• Verifiesthat all parts are in stock.

• Match specific parts to vehicles needinginstallationandplacethemwiththeappropriatevehicle.

• Record parts removed from inventory intodatabase.

• Keepan accurateinventory count of all parts in stock.

• Conductsannual hard count inventory of all parts.

• CompletesQCInspection Form for all completedinstalls.

• Ensurenodamage happenedduring the installation.

• Reportsalldamage found.

Supervisory Responsibility

This positionhas no direct reports.

Work Environment

Well-lighted,heatedand/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.

Outdoors exposed to changing and/or extreme weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, humidity, etc.).

Physical Demands

Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexteritysufficientto reach and handle items.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday throughFridayon a day shift. This position often requires overtime.

Travel

There are no travel requirements for this position.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.

Computer Operations

Basic personal computer skills

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card)

Valid Driver's License
