Estimator - Commercial / Big Box Retail Construction
Location: Boca Raton, FL or Tampa, FL
Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 Base Salary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established Florida General Contractor specializing in a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, retail, and big box construction projects throughout the state.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate conceptual and detailed construction estimates
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Develop budgets, takeoffs, and bid proposals
- Collaborate with operations and project management teams during preconstruction
Qualifications
- 5+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor
- Experience estimating big box retail and commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and pricing
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with estimating software and quantity takeoffs
