Medical Receptionist

Well established Foot & Ankle Specialists office located in Berkley, MI currently has an opening for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. Candidate must have at least 1 year of medical front desk experience. Hours are Monday-Friday. NO Weekends!

Requirements:

• Must be able to multi-task
• Knowledge of medical insurance & requirements
• Possess Insurance Verification skills
• Check patients in & out
• Collection of Co pays
• Scheduling appointments
• Answer multi-line phone system
• Complete FMLA paperwork
• Obtain diagnostic imaging authorizations
• Process medical record requests

Candidate must have great computer skills, great communication skills and must be friendly to patients and staff. Medical office & EMR experience is a must!
