The Opportunity

Minimum qualifications:
*Must be licensed as adentistby the Texas State Board ofDentalExaminers.
*Must have a current unrestricted registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
*Must possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI#).
*Must complete facility and HHSC required training

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Dentistmust be proficient in computers/electronic health records.

TheDentistis responsible for providingdentalservices for individuals living at the Supported Living Center and certain identified individuals living in community-based settings, including advanceddentalcare and treatment to elevate the oral hygiene of all individuals. TheDentistis responsible for implementing the best and safest practices in treatment.
Provide timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters using our electronic medical anddentalrecords of the residentswith intellectual disabilities.
*Written treatment plan with justification of irreversibledentaltreatments.
*Must be able to work in a team environment.
*Must have good communication skills, be organized, and be able to present information.
*Able to work with minimal supervision.

ASSIGNED SCHEDULE:
4-day/10-hour day schedule.
*Tuesday-Friday schedule after required training. No after-hour call.
