As a Manufacturing Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you’ll balance accuracy with speed, build custom packaging, keep meticulous records, and move product safely through the facility.

A day in the life

  • Use forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material-handling equipment to stage items, retrieve WIP and finished goods, and support teammates across the floor.
  • Operate a saw to cut material for manufacturing when production needs a quick assist.
  • Receive inbound materials, inspect for damage, identify and label items correctly, and enter details into the appropriate tracking system.
  • Complete shipping and receiving reports; promptly report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment used in daily activities; help keep inventory accurate and organized, including identification and protection of WIP, finished goods, and materials.
  • Periodically operate a pickup or flatbed truck (manual or automatic) to transport materials, machinery, or products as needed.
  • Follow established practices, policies, and procedures while adapting quickly to urgent requests and changing priorities.
What you’ll bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0–3 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient and safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and related equipment.
  • Able to operate vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing accuracy.
  • Effective English communication (read, write, speak).
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfort with woodworking tasks, building crates, and loading/unloading vehicles.
Work environment
  • 40+ hours per week; may include overtime, on-call, evenings, and/or weekends.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
