Restoration Technician - Water & Mold Mitigation

All Dry Services of Northeast Atlanta is looking for a dependable, hardworking Restoration Technician to join our growing team.

We’re a locally owned restoration company, and we’re looking for someone who wants to do more than just show up for another hourly job. We want someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, treats customers well, and wants the opportunity to grow with us.

If you already have your IICRC WRT certificationor any other IICRC certificationswe definitely want to hear from you. Restoration experience and certifications will be reflected in starting pay and responsibilities.

If you don’t have restoration experience yet, we’re also willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and hands-on experience in construction, demolition, HVAC, plumbing, maintenance, moving, warehouse work, or another similar field.

What You’ll Do

Our technicians work in homes and businesses throughout the Atlanta area responding to water damage, mold, fire/smoke damage, and other property emergencies.

Your day may include:

• Water extraction and structural drying
• Removing damaged drywall, flooring, insulation, and other materials
• Setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA filtration, and drying equipment
• Taking moisture readings and monitoring drying progress
• Mold remediation and containment
• Cleaning and treating affected materials
• Photographing and documenting work performed
• Protecting customers’ homes and belongings
• Keeping trucks, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Communicating professionally with homeowners and the rest of our team

Preferred Experience

We are especially interested in candidates with:

• IICRC WRT certification
• Other IICRC certifications such as ASD, AMRT, FSRT, OCT, etc.
• Water mitigation or structural drying experience
• Mold remediation experience
• Restoration or construction experience
• Experience using moisture meters, dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filtration, and related equipment

Certifications are a big plus, but attitude, dependability, and judgment matter just as much to us.

What to Expect

Restoration is physical work. Some days involve demolition, carrying equipment, crawlspaces, attics, heat, dust, and long days when emergencies happen.

It’s probably not the right job for someone who wants every day to look the same or needs someone constantly telling them what to do next.

But if you like variety, enjoy solving real problems, and want to become really good at a skilled trade, restoration can be a great career.
