Job Description:
We are looking for dependable General Labor Workers to join our production team. This position involves working in a cold and wet environment while cutting, cleaning, handling, and packaging lettuce and other produce. This is a fast-paced role requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in refrigerated conditions.
Essential Job Functions:
Cut, trim, peel, and clean lettuce or other produce as assigned.
Perform packaging duties, including placing finished product into bags and boxes.
Maintain a steady workflow on the production line to avoid delays.
Handle produce in cold, wet conditions (approx. 32–36°ree;F).
Follow GMPs, food safety standards, and plant procedures at all times.
Use knives, peelers, or other tools safely and correctly.
Lift up to 35 lbs throughout the shift and perform repetitive motions.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Assist with general production duties as needed.
Requirements:
Must pass E-Verify.
Ability to work in a cold and wet environment (refrigerated production area).
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
No experience required training provided.
Schedule:
Monday – Saturday
1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – Until production is finished
Overtime available daily
