Activity Director
Job Location: Saint Marys, OH
Job Summary:

As an Activity Director, you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant and engaging environment that fosters socialization, recreation, and personal growth among our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional who can lead our activities program and develop innovative and diverse activities that cater to our residents' interests and needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive activity program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
Recruit and supervise activity staff, volunteers, and interns to support program implementation
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to identify and address resident needs, goals, and preferences
Design and lead activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and entertainment, including but not limited to arts and crafts, games, outings, and therapy programs
Ensure compliance with regulations and policies related to activities and social services
Maintain accurate records and reports of activity participation, program evaluations, and resident feedback
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 0 years of experience in activity direction or a related field
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with a diverse population, including seniors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for activity programs in long-term care settings
