About the Role:

The Lead Estheticianis a hands-on leader who ensures smooth daily operations, maintains high service standards, and fosters a positive team culture. This role combines technical expertise in sugaring and beauty services with strong leadership, training, and customer service skills. You’ll be the bridge between our estheticiansand management, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment while supporting scheduling, inventory, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Training

• Supervise and mentor Estheticians to maintain service excellence.
• Train new hires and provide ongoing development for existing staff.
• Address service-related concerns and client feedback professionally.

Salon Cleanliness & Maintenance

• Ensure treatment rooms and common areas meet the highest hygiene standards.
• Delegate and oversee daily cleaning routines.
• Perform routine inspections to maintain equipment and safety standards.

Client Experience & Retention

• Build strong relationships with clients to encourage return visits and memberships.
• Handle escalated client concerns to ensure satisfaction.

Inventory & Quality Control

• Monitor and report stock levels for treatment products and tools.
• Ensure staff follows company protocols for all services (e.g., sugaring, lash lifts, brow lamination).
• Conduct service quality checks.

Scheduling

• Assist with shift coverage and staff scheduling.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in sugaring or a related beauty service.
Valid Esthetician or Cosmetology License issued by the New Jersey State Board.
Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
