In this role, you will ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of our facilities while supervising and training Housekeeping Staff and Participants. Your work will be crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for everyone at Lambs Farm.The RolePerform cleaning, sanitation, and light maintenance of assigned buildingsSupervise and train Participants in cleaning, sanitation, chemical safety, and safe working practicesOperate and maintain mechanical cleaning equipment safelyManage and enforce Emergency Safety Procedures and Housekeeping ManualsMaintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitationManage and track housekeeping supplies and inventoryInspect areas for repairs, generate work orders, and test light bulbs, exit signs, and emergency lightsAttend safety and training meetings as directedComplete required annual trainingSupport Special Events by working additional days or hours as neededEnsure accurate and timely documentationPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentOne year of related janitorial work experienceExperience with hand tools and mechanical cleaning equipmentExperience working with developmentally disabled adults is a plusAt least one year of supervisory experienceCompletion of mandatory training within 120 days of employmentValid driver's license with no violations in the past yearPhysical capability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and walking, including lifting and moving up to 50 poundsProficiency in writing, speaking, and understanding EnglishProficiency in basic computer skills, including accurate typing, navigating websites, entering and recalling data, using word processors and spreadsheet software, managing emails, and familiarity with digital communication etiquette and techniquesSelf-starter, able to work with minimal supervisionCompensationThe hourly rate for this role is $16.00 per hourDisclaimer: As part of the pre-employment process, all employees at Lambs Farm are required to successfully complete background and registry checks and medical screenings.
