Job Title:Staff Accountant

Location: Patterson, NJ

Salary:60k - 65k + Bonus

Stable NJ Distributor seeks a Junior Accountant to join their Team

Responsibilities:

·Assist the Controller during the monthly accounting close process

·Prepare and enter journal entries as required.

·Review and approve AP vouchers

·Process billing on a daily basis.

·Review and process board bills ACH transfers weekly.

·AP and AR back-up

·Prepare bank reconciliations as required.

·Review account analysis for discrepancies.

·File accounting documents.

·Maintain internal and external records retention.

·Update Key Stats Report daily.

·Monthly inventory reviews of Inventory

Qualifications:

·Accounting or Finance Degree.

·1-2 years’ experience

·Prior experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

·Intermediate Excel desired
