About the Opportunity

A respected federal healthcare organization is seeking experienced AC Mechanic Operators to support facility operations across the Central Alabama VA Healthcare System.

Position Summary

The AC Mechanic Operator will assist with the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems supporting healthcare facilities.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot heating, ventilation, and air conditioning issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify needed repairs.
• Respond to HVAC service requests.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable regulations.

Specific responsibilities will be provided during the hiring process.

Minimum Qualifications

• HVAC or AC mechanic experience
• Ability to meet federal credentialing requirements
