What you’ll need to succeed:

• Valid 310 Certification (required)
• Previous experience in a school social work setting strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of child development, social and emotional needs, and crisis intervention
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement interventions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect social work services to students, families, and school staff
• Participate in Individualized Education Planning (IEP) meetings and consult on student support strategies
• Address behavioral, social, and emotional barriers to academic success
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and connect families with outside community resources
• Maintain documentation in accordance with district and regulatory standards
• Foster an inclusive, supportive climate for all students
