Construction Superintendent

The Construction Superintendent will oversee medium-sized commercial construction projects, managing teams of 11-30 members to ensure timely, safe, and quality project completion. This role requires frequent travel between sites and proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project. The superintendent will coordinate resources, enforce compliance, and drive problem resolution while maintaining budget and schedule adherence. Opportunities for growth include specialization in Safety Management and advancement to Project Manager roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial construction projects, managing medium-sized teams
• Coordinate and allocate resources efficiently across sites
• Manage safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance on all projects
• Maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project and other software
• Monitor quality control to meet specifications and standards
• Track project budgets and control costs effectively
• Enforce compliance with regulatory and company policies
• Resolve on-site problems to minimize delays and disruptions
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in construction management
• Relevant vocational training in construction or related fields
• OSHA Safety Certification
• Expertise in construction scheduling and project management software
• Strong skills in risk management and conflict resolution
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Proven budget management and problem-solving capabilities
• Commitment to safety compliance and best practices
