Accounting Manager needed in Tampa FL! This role is 5 days a week onsite.
Job Description
The Accounting Manager oversees all aspects of financial reporting and general accounting, along with selected human resources activities. This role develops and maintains accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements, while supervising a team of three staff members and managing workload allocation. The position handles tight deadlines and a wide range of accounting activities, including account reconciliations, general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and support for budgeting and forecasting. The Accounting Manager interacts regularly with sr-level leadership and business owners, requiring strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

This role is based fully on-site in an office environment within a close, family-owned organization operating in the logistics sector. The team culture is tight-knit and collaborative, with colleagues who work closely together and support one another. The environment is fast-paced and deadline-driven, requiring comfort with PCs and regular use of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including extensive ten-key work. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
